B2B web design for technical businesses.
Most B2B websites look great at launch, then stay frozen in time.
Our flexible approach to WordPress websites means your website keeps pace with your business. So you can say “goodbye” to starting again.
Does your website reflect where your business is today?
Your website might look okay, but if every change has to go through a developer, it won’t keep up.
The gap between having an idea and delivery has a cost. Campaigns miss their window. Sales wait longer for content they need to close deals and marketing loses credibility.
We design WordPress websites that close this gap. You’ll get a site designed around how your buyers research and choose, and a platform your team can really manage. We’re always here to help, but you won’t be waiting on us.
So if “can we just...” turns into a project - we should talk.
OUR WORK IN NUMBERS
in our team of designers, developers, strategists and project managers.
under management for B2B clients across the UK and across the globe.
experience designing, developing and supporting high performance websites for B2B businesses.
If any of this sounds familiar, we should talk.
Simple edits that should take minutes take weeks. Your team stops experimenting because the friction isn’t worth it and marketing slows to the speed of the dev queue.
A design that wins internal approval but doesn’t reflect how technical buyers research means visits that never become pipeline. Pretty is not the same as commercial.
Positioning has moved on; the website hasn’t. Prospects arrive and get last year’s story so sales spend the first call correcting it.
By the time the landing page is live, the moment has passed. Competitors who can publish in a day are capturing the demand instead.
New products, new markets, new integrations and a build that fights you at every turn. The site has become a liability that gets more expensive to fix the longer it’s left.

Technical B2B businesses with complex briefs. A few of our recent projects.
THE PROCESS
Strategy, design and build, from one team fluent in marketing and technology.
We work out what the website is actually for before we design a thing. Then we design around your buyers and build on a flexible platform your team can run.

1. Customer research and positioning
Most sites are built without a confident answer to "what is this for?" We start there, mapping your buyers, their research journey and the decision your site needs to drive. What we build is designed to perform, rather than just exist.

2. SEO migration and content planning
Sitemap, structure and keyword strategy planned up front. When we migrate, we protect the search equity you have and build from there, so we don't lose momentum.

3. Prototyping
We prototype fast, using AI to turn the strategy into working layouts in days rather than weeks. You'll see and react to structure early, so decisions are made on something tangible, not a static mock-up and nothing expensive gets discovered late.

4. UI design
We turn the prototyping into a structure that moves a visitor from research to internal conviction and enquiry. We'll define every component you'll have available so you've got flexibility to design page layouts that don't exist at launch.

5. Development
We build on WordPress with a component-driven structure and reusable patterns in the WordPress editor, so your team assembles new pages from parts that already match your brand - no ticket, no developer, no three-week wait.

6. Systems integration
Connect the site to the tools your business already runs on - HubSpot, Salesforce, applicant tracking systems and custom APIs - so enquiries land where sales works and nothing slips through the cracks.

7. Launch and monitoring
A launch checklist honed over a decade of B2B launches. Then we watch how it performs, checking the plan is working and handing your team a website they keep improving, with us on hand when you need us.

WORDPRESS
Our experience of B2B, built on a platform that you own.
We develop on WordPress, so your marketing team can launch changes at speed, test new ideas and respond to opportunities while they’re live.
For the wider business, that speed shows in faster campaigns, more and better enquiries, higher conversion, and a website that behaves like a commercial asset instead of a maintenance headache.
Crucially, WordPress is open source. That means no platform lock-in and you own it.
CLIENT FEEDBACK
Alex Ashley-Roberts
Chief Marketing Officer
"Appeal Digital built us a new website at record pace. They are super professional and great fun to work with. They had strong processes and project governance, whilst remaining flexible as things evolved.
I liked how they balanced our needs across positioning, SEO, AOI and user journey - they created page structures that we're now able to maintain and evolve. One of their biggest strengths is keeping focus on delivery - they don't just say 'yes' because we asked, they challenged our ideas in the spirit of doing the right thing for us in the short and long term. I highly recommend Appeal Digital."
Built for technical companies.
Your customers have complex use cases, long buying cycles and specialist requirements. Our sector focus means we've seen many examples of what works and what doesn't for technical buyers. Want to challenge us?
Frequently asked questions.
We've captured some of the questions we're asked most frequently. Something we've got not covered? Get in touch.
B2B buyers research longer, involve more people, and evaluate on credibility and technical fit rather than impulse. A B2B website has to serve that longer journey with clear positioning, evidence, and paths for different stakeholders - while giving your marketing team the control to keep it moving.
Yes. We work out your positioning, design the experience around your buyers, and build it on a flexible WordPress platform that we’ve been evolving over the last decade. But if you already have brand guidelines or a designer you love, we’ll work with them and own the build.
That’s the point. We build with a component-driven structure and reusable blocks, so your team assembles and launches pages themselves. When you do want us - a new component, an integration or support - we’re quick to respond.
Not if it’s done properly. We plan the migration up front and follow a process designed to preserve your search equity, so you keep the visibility you’ve earned.
A site with a standard set of 20-25 components starts at £12,995 + VAT. This covers strategy, design, build and all elements of the SEO migration. Things that will drive the cost up will include:
- Additional components
- Integrations with third party platforms and systems
- Additional time for design
- Content production support (we work with a series of closely vetted third parties who can support with copywriting, photography, illustration and brand).
